The Cast of It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman!
David Carney (Clark Kent/Superman):  was last seen as Danny in Riverside Theater works’ production of Baby.  In addition to his work with Riverside, he has performed as Malcolm in The Full Monty (Theater III), Roger in A New Brain (Longwood Players), and John Hinckley Jr. in Assassins (Newton Country Players).   Prior to his move to New England, Dave spent time on the stages of Washington D.C.  Credits include Gene in Sondheim’s Saturday Night, Brad in The Rocky Horror Show.  He would like to thank Loki Arts for welcoming him with open arms into their amazing world!  Also, a special thanks to the cast for the opportunity to share the stage with such gifted performers.  And of course, many thanks to family and friends for their enduring support.
Nicole Vander Laan (Lois Lane)
Eric Dwinnells (Max Mencken): is the founder of Loki Arts. He is thrilled and honored that so many wonderful and talented people share his vision. Born and raised in Ashland, MA, Eric went on to study at The Boston Conservatory. His first "gig" was as the 3rd Billy Goat Gruff in Ms. Walsh's 2 nd grade class production of The Billy Goats Gruff. More recently, Eric has been seen as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar and Godspell, Claudius in Hamlet, The Baker in Into The Woods, Danny in Baby, Roger in Grease, Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Caleb in Spitfire Grill, The Beadle in Sweeney Todd, Uncle Louie in Lost in Yonkers, and Cousin Kevin in The Who's Tommy. Eric has been awarded the Semper Fidelis Award by the US Marine Corps for his singing and he once won a gold medal in Shakespeare. He was also voted "Friendliest Boy in Class" in both 1st and 5th grade.
Alaina Fragoso (Sydney): is a Mass native and is thrilled to be doing something other than waitressing and auditioning, especially with such talented people! With a Musical Theatre degree from Emerson College, Alaina has also trained with industry professionals at the Circle in the Square Theatre School in NYC. She's had the privilege of working on productions such as Cinderella (Cinderella), Steel Magnolias (Clairee), Life In Space (Grace), and Company (Susan), among others. Alaina thanks Loki Arts, her family, and friends for being so utterly supportive!
Kate deLima (Dr. Sedgewick): is delighted to wield the powerful weapon of psychoanalysis in this Super production. Kate has played leading roles in theaters around the U.S., including Rose in Gateway’s national tour of Meet Me in St. Louis, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof at the Skylight Opera Theater in Milwaukee and Eliza in My Fair Lady at the Golden Apple Dinner Theater in Sarasota. In Boston, she has worked at the Huntington Theatre (understudying Trina and Dr. Charlotte in Falsettos), the Lyric Stage Company (understudying Abigail in 1776), and many other area theaters such as Turtle Lane Playhouse (Princess Puffer in . . . Drood, Claudia in Nine, Maria in West Side Story), Company Theatre (Magnolia in Showboat, Diana in Lend Me a Tenor), and Fiddlehead Theatre (Gwendolen in The Importance of Being Earnest, Stepmother in Cinderella).
Matthew Bartlett (Jim Morgan): Originally from southern New Hampshire, Matthew began acting at age 14 in a production of Romeo and Juliet and has since acted through high school and college. Recently, he could be seen with Loki as Jimmy Harper in Reefer Madness the Musical, Jonathan in David: The Musical and starring in a short film at Emerson College. He is thrilled to be playing Jim Morgan and working alongside the rest of the cast and crew.
Danielle Pirone (Madame Ling): is fairly new to the Massachusetts scene of theater and this is her first performance with Loki Arts! She was last seen in David, The Musical, performed at the Boston Center for the Arts. She studied at Five Towns College in NY and has moved to Boston for a little while, before heading back to NY, to pursue a professional career in Theater. She also works at G Spa in Boston and loves her co-workers for all their positive support with Theater!! She would also like to thank Ray and the wonderful cast and crew for everything they have done for her. Family and Friends, thank you as always...Devon-Thank you so much, I love you.
Mikey DiLoreto (Ensemble/ Sound FX):  is happy to be returning to Loki Arts having recently performed in Reefer Madness: The Musical. He has been seen with various companies around the area including Bad Habit Productions, The Useless Theatre Company, 978 Theatre, and Mill 6 Theatre. Mikey will next be portraying Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Bad Habit Productions version of Twelfth Night, which will be in late July. Love to family and friends (especially Ishkabibby Land and The Team)!
Julie Dauber (Ensemble):  is a performer and choreographer with a degree in Theatre and Dance from the University of Richmond in Virginia. Favorite past roles include Mrs. Truckle in Sly Fox, Dream Laurey in Oklahoma!, and Dolores in Gypsy starring Lorna Luft. As a choreographer, her work has been seen throughout the east coast, highlights being Godspell with Mount Hebron Drama in Maryland, the world premiere of Murphy's Law at the University of Richmond, and here in Boston with the original production Caution: Our Children at Work at Emerson College. Julie also works in educational theatre at Riverside Theatre Works and Newton North High School. Outside of the theatre, Julie sings with Those Wolves Actually Happened, a Boston based independent rock band. 
Tiffany Carnuccio (Ensemble): is excited to be participating in her first production at Loki Arts. Recent productions include, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Courtesan), Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), Godspell (Ensemble), and many other productions around the South Shore.
David Marino (Ensemble): Many thanks to Ray O'Hare for inviting David to be in his first production at Loki Arts. David has been doing theater in Boston since 1997 where he performed with ImprovBoston's Mainstage for 8 years and directed the weekly shows Micetro, UnNatural Selection, and an original non-competitive elimination show Comedy in the Round. He conceived and directed several showcase shows, including Archipelago, Pirate Lives, Groaners and Boners, and Agent Spy, which was showcased at the 2004 Chicago Improv Festival. David has also performed in Red Herrings, Radio Hour, The ImprovBoston Holiday Spectacular, TheatreSports, Musical the Musical, French Kiss Me Kate, and the continuing yearly run of the fully improvised fantasy-based serial, Quest. He was in the original cast of the Rough n Tumble Theater Company's production of The Silent Movie Play and Blazing Appalachia with Theater One. Some of his favorite past roles include Cornelius Hackle from Hello Dolly, Sky Masterson from Guys and Dolls, and the King in The King and I. David has also worked on various projects with The Improv Asylum and The Tribe, including the popular two-person "historically-improvised" show Code Duello. Recently David co-wrote and directed Southcity Theater's most successful show to date, Burlesque Me If I Love You: A Vaudeville Rendezvous. He is also the founder and director for the charity fund-raising program Groaners for Donors (www.groanersfordonors.org) David is currently helping design a museum for a Cambridge-based genome research laboratory.
