Penny Hansen is thrilled to portray the sweet-as-pie yet secretly sassy Mary Lane. A native of the Chicagoland area, Penny came to Beantown to earn her MM in Opera Performance at the Boston Conservatory, where she graduated last May. Favorite roles span across the genres of musical theatre, operetta, and opera and include Woman #1 in Songs For A New World, Marian the Librarian in The Music Man, Yum-Yum in The Mikado, Adele in Die Fledermaus, and Tytania in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream .
